Willow Worlds grew from an idea developed over several years: using living willow to protect young trees from roe deer without relying on single-use plastic tree guards.

The project brings together practical woodland management, regenerative design and a belief that tree planting can work more closely with nature.
Duncan Zuill is the founder of Willow Worlds and Project Lead for Bat's Wood SCIO.
Drawing on years of practical conservation work, Duncan developed the Willow Worlds approach as a natural alternative to plastic tree guards.
